SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A person of interest in connection to Friday's mass shooting in the Mission District is in custody, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) confirmed Wednesday night. Javier Campos was taken into custody after nine people were shot near 24th Street and Treat Avenue. Local leaders speak out after Mission District mass shooting Campos had "several" outstanding warrants for his arrest from other law enforcement agencies across the Bay Area, according to SFPD. Multiple agencies assisted in taking Campos into custody.SFPD responded to the shooting Friday around 9:07 p.m. Nine of the victims were taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. (KRON) -- Three suspects who police say were in the process of robbing a 7-Eleven store in American Canyon were arrested early Thursday morning, according to the American Canyon Police Department. Officers were on the lookout for a red Chevy Impala that had been connected to the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven in Vacaville. Descriptions of suspects connected to the vehicle were also given to ACPD.An American Canyon PD officer found the Impala parked on the side of a building and unoccupied at the 7-Eleven location on Rio Del Mar and Highway 29. Suspects who matched the descriptions could be seen inside the store. It appeared a robbery was taking place, police said. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Crews were responding to a report of five kayakers in "distress" Thursday afternoon, the San Francisco Fire Department announced on Twitter. As of 3 p.m., the kayakers are being rescued at the water outside of Oracle Park.
