4-year-old hospitalized after accidental shooting in Gary GARY, Ind. -- A 4-year-old boy from Northwest Indiana has been hospitalized after he reportedly shot himself with his parents gun on Tuesday.According to the Gary Police Department in Indiana, officers were dispatched the North Lake Methodist Hospital on Tuesday on reports of a 4-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.GPD reported that the shooting occurred on the 1900 block of Burr Street inside the apartment of a Gary couple. Delta Air Lines will restrict access to its Sky Club airport lounges (AP) - Delta Air Lines passengers who have long enjoyed access to free meals, alcohol and a quiet place to relax before their flight are in for some major cutbacks in coming years.The Atlanta-based airline said it plans to cap the number of entries to its Sky Clubs starting Feb. 1, 2025 for holders of the American Express Platinum Card as well as the Delta Reserve American Express Card. Those holding the Platinum Card will be allowed six visits per year, while the Delta Reserve Card holders will get 10 annual visits.Those who book a basic economy ticket will no longer be allowed in the lounge starting Jan. 1, 2024, regardless if they carry a Platinum Card or any other premium credit card.The news originally was leaked on a Portuguese-language website and was confirmed by a Delta spokesman.The news may not come as a surprise to Delta customers who have visited a Sky Club at Delta's major hubs like JFK Airport or Atlanta, where lines to access Sky Clubs have been a common occurrence. ...

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A man has filed a lawsuit against a bar on Rainey Street after he said a woman beat him with a broken glass.According to the Austin Police Department, officers received a report of an assault at Parlor Room on Feb. 26. Police found the victim, Billy Raisch, but said the suspect had left. The case was then assigned to an investigative unit, but ultimately suspended due to "limited suspect information and witnesses.""This is a really tragic and scary case," said James Wood, Raisch's attorney. The lawsuit claims the woman who attacked Raisch was overserved and threw a drink on Raisch's friend when the friend bumped into the woman. Suspect in stolen Mercedes GTS arrested after pursuit in Orange County Police dash-cam video shows a high-speed pursuit of a carjacking suspect out of Long Beach who led officers in chase through Buena Park and into Artesia where he then attempted to flee on foot before he was ultimately arrested.  The incident occurred on Sept. 7 just before 2 p.m. when an officer with the Buena Park Police Department spotted the stolen Mercedes GTS.   Family tied up, held at gunpoint by masked robbers in Orange County “Our officer followed the vehicle while waiting for assistance to arrive and the driver pulled into a parking lot at Western High School. $10,000 reward offered for information on teen killed in Palmdale drive-by shooting A $10,000 reward is being offered for information on a teen boy who was murdered in a Palmdale drive-by shooting.The teen, identified as 19-year-old Jacob Matthew Taylor, was fatally shot when a fight broke out at a park on Nov. 1, 2022.Deputies responded to a shooting at Marie Kerr Park on the 39900 block of 30th Street West around 12:46 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.Investigators discovered a group of people were in the west parking lot when a fight broke out, but it was quickly broken up. About 10 minutes later, a pickup truck drove into the lot and began firing at the crowd, striking three teenage victims.The truck then sped away northbound on 30th Street West, authorities said. Arriving deputies found Taylor unresponsive and with gunshot wounds.
