ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Happie Collective already had its soft opening at 197 Lark Street and after a few weeks off, it's officially opening. The vintage clothing and artisan goods shop is having its grand opening on Friday, August 4. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Opening this shop has been a dream of owner Sandy Schneider for a long time. She is also a teacher at Woodland Hill Montessori School in Rensselaer.The Happie Collective specializes in upcycled and vintage clothing, and artisan goods from vendors such as painters and potters. Most vendors are local, while a few are out of state. GERALD, Mo. - As the Flood Watch continues through areas in Missouri, the Gerald Fire Protection District have already responded to the heavy rainfall.According to Gerald Fire Protection District Chief Warren Weiss Woods, in roughly 30 minutes, the area got four inches of rain. Police are searching for a suspect involved in a pair of car-to-car shootings overnight that closed the 60 freeway in Diamond Bar and left one person dead in Costa Mesa. The first shooting was reported around 11:30 p.m. in Diamond Bar when someone opened fire on a pickup truck near Diamond Bar Boulevard.The driver pulled over with his family and called authorities.Authorities investigate a possible shooting in Diamond Bar on Aug. 1, 2023. King tides are continuing to impact the Orange County coast, with abnormally high water levels causing flooding in Huntington Beach.King tides, "exceptionally high tides" that strike three or four times a year, hit at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday and are expected again at about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, the city said on Twitter.
