(AP) — Efforts to use the Constitution’s “insurrection” clause to prevent former President Donald Trump from running again for the White House turn to Minnesota on Thursday with oral arguments before the state Supreme Court, a hearing that will unfold as a similar case plays out in Colorado.Those lawsuits are among several filed around the country to bar Trump from state ballots in 2024 over his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, an assault intended to halt Congress’ certification of Joe Biden’s win. Man with stab wound walks off MetroLink train ST, LOUIS -- A man with a stab wound to the chest got off a westbound MetroLink train Thursday morning. The incident happened just before 7 a.m.When the victim stepped off the train at the Central West End station, officers were waiting for him. They were able to get him medical attention. Florida kidnapping victims rescued from downtown St. Louis hotel Bi-State says that the incident did not happen on the train. The man was injured somewhere else and then hopped onto a train at the Civic Center station.The incident was first reported as a shooting. Police were able to determine that the man was stabbed when he stepped off of the train. The extent of the man's injuries has not been revealed at this time.There is an active investigation into this incident. Police have not shared any information about a suspect. This is a developing story. More details will be posted here when they come into the FOX 2 newsroom.

Police seek hit-and-run driver in woman's death The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for the driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in Wilmington last month.The pedestrian, a woman whose identity has not been released, was in a crosswalk at Anaheim Street and King Avenue at about 7:20 p.m. on Oct. 6 when she was hit by a white sedan, police said in a news release."The force of the collision caused the victim to be propelled into the air before landing in the roadway," police added.The white sedan fled the scene, and the woman succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital three weeks after she was struck.Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Huerta at 323-421-2500.
