ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)--With more migrants expected to come to New York, questions on where to house them remain. One option could be SUNY Campuses. New York City currently has more 41,000 asylum seekers with about 15 more buses of migrants on their way. With New York City at capacity, Governor Hochul’s team is now searching for all available state properties for housing.In an interview with NY1 on Wednesday she said, "Clearly a SUNY campus lends itself to immediate help, but long-term, we have to have it free by August. So, what happens in August? So these are the questions we're asking right now. (WTEN) -- For years, advocates have been pushing for The Clean Slate Act, a bill that would automatically seal criminal records three years after sentencing for misdemeanors and after seven years for felonies. It would not apply to sex crimes. Our Capitol Correspondent, Amal Tlaige spoke with those for and against the bill. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Slingerlands man was arrested on Wednesday on one count of aggravated sexual abuse of a child. Daniel Fuino, 73, appeared in court on Thursday and was ordered detained after reserving his right to seek a detention hearing at a later date. Fuino babysat the child at his home and took her to Atlantic City, New Jersey, on weekends when her mother was at work.According to the criminal complaint, during the trips to Atlantic City, Fuino photographed the child’s genitals, digitally penetrated her, and forced the girl to perform oral sex on him. Law enforcement recovered images from Fuino's electronic devices of the victim that depicted some of the abuse. Greene County has stated that the State of Emergency has been proclaimed due to failed federal polices, in tandem with New York City mismanaging and underestimating the impact of inviting asylum seekers to the city. The county says they are incapable of receiving and sustaining the volume of migrants or asylum seekers that New York City intends on delivering. FERGUSON, Mo. - Police are investigating a shooting in the parking lot of a Home Depot store in the 10900 block New Halls Ferry Road. Officers were called to the scene at around 10:45 a.m. because of several 911 calls about gunfire in the area.Ferguson Police arriving on the scene were told that two men had been involved in the shooting. The suspects ran off after the gunfire erupted. No victims were found at the scene."Our investigators are diligently reviewing the available surveillance footage and following up on leads. The safety and security of our community is our utmost priority and we are committed to ensuring that such incidents are thoroughly investigated," states Chief Doyle.Officers collected evidence from the parking lot, including shell casings, and a discarded gun. BRANSON, Mo. - In the months following the crash on Silver Dollar City's train ride, KOLR 10 Investigates has learned the theme park delayed handing over critical safety information to state investigators.Silver Dollar City reported that the derailment, which happened on one of the park's slowest rides, injured seven people including six guests and an employee.
